Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) are used on the OrienHost website and Client Area, and how you can control them. We do not use advertising networks or cross-site tracking.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage works in a similar way but is only read by your browser. Both are used to remember settings and to keep you signed in.
2. Categories we use
Necessary (always active)
These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off:
- Session cookie: keeps you signed in to the Client Area and keeps the contents of your cart. It is deleted when the session ends or when you sign out.
- Security tokens: protect forms against cross-site request forgery and misuse.
- Preferences: remember your language, currency and light or dark theme, and your cookie choices.
- Cloudflare security cookies: our website is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set short-lived cookies (for example
__cf_bm) to tell real visitors apart from bots.
Analytics (only with your consent)
- Counts how often pages and articles are read so we can see which content is useful. The data is used only in aggregate.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views in aggregate without setting cookies and without tracking you across websites.
Marketing (only with your consent)
- Records the partner who referred you, if you arrived through an affiliate link, so that the referral can be credited.
- Allows embedded third-party content (for example videos) to load. These third parties may set their own cookies.
3. Local storage
We store some interface settings in your browser's local storage, for example the selected theme, dismissed notices and the state of menus. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
4. Managing your choices
- When you first visit the website you can accept or reject the optional categories.
- You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, signing in and ordering will not work.
